This is a story of hope, resilience, and the difference a caring community can make. Two valued members of the JK Group family — one woman and one man — faced life-threatening cancer. With the JK Foundation stepping in, neither had to fight alone.

The challenge

Both employees received serious cancer diagnoses that upended their lives. Beyond the physical and emotional strain, the mounting medical bills and the fear of losing income threatened their stability and independence. Each family faced uncertainty about the future and how they would manage treatment, recovery, and work.

How the JK Foundation helped

The JK Foundation provided rapid, practical, and compassionate support tailored to each person’s needs:

  • Medical costs covered. The Foundation paid for treatments, surgeries, and follow-up care so neither family faced the added stress of financial burden.

  • Emotional and psychological support. Counseling and ongoing encouragement were arranged to help both employees and their families through the toughest days.

  • Job protection and workplace support. Both were assured that their positions would be waiting for them; flexible arrangements were made so they could focus on recovery without worrying about losing their livelihoods.

  • Community care. Colleagues and Foundation volunteers stayed connected, providing visits, practical help, and a steady source of moral support.

The result

After intensive care and the Foundation’s unwavering support, both employees made remarkable progress. The female employee completed a year of treatment and was declared cancer-free. The male employee successfully completed his treatment and is recovering with renewed strength and hope. Both have returned to the JK Group workplace to a warm welcome.
